The Bagni di Petriolo, already known since Roman times, are immersed in the green of the Maremma hills, where it is possible to catch up with nature by taking long excursions, trekking and visits to the naturalistic oases of the Val di Merse.
The thermal waters flow at a temperature of +43 ° C along a stretch of the Farma river and are characterized by the presence of hydrogen sulphide, with a sulphhydrometric concentration of 21 milligrams per liter. Anhydride is also present free carbon, calcium, fluorine and ions chloride, sulfate and hydrogen carbonate.
