The beach of Marina di Alberese is the best known of the Parco della Maremma and also the most easily accessible. The entrance is the same as in the park, and with a very limited number of cars allowed, it is convenient to park your car in the park's car park and continue with the free shuttle service. The beach can also be reached via a cycle path that starts from the visitor center and is 8 km long.
On the way to the beach you can see Chianine herds and horses in the wild.
The beach of Marina di Alberese is uncontaminated and consists of fine sand. It opens up in front of a dense Mediterranean scrub that offers numerous natural shade points. The sea is crystal clear. The coast along a few kilometers is characterized by the presence of trunks and branches bleached by the sea and the sun, which are used to build "huts" with a primitive appearance that offer valid protection from the sun.
At the entrance to the beach you will also find a summer refreshment point.
If you feel comfortable walking, we advise you not to stop immediately, but to continue to the left; The beach becomes less and less crowded and you can fully enjoy the natural beauty of this place. The southernmost part of the beach, where the crowd of bathers can only be seen in the distance, is also frequented by nudists.
